In our quest to continue to get to know the ‘spoiled’ top 24 contestants today I have chosen to spotlight AJ Tabaldo and Leslie Hunt. Tabaldo is a 22 year-old from Santa Maria, CA and was one of the many contestants to make it though the Los Angeles audition rounds. Like a lot of the other males on the short list Tabaldo has a definite R&B sound. If you go to AJ Tabaldo’s MySpace music page you can sample two of his songs. I’m particularly fond of the song “Tell Me” – I think it showcases Tabaldo’s voice; the song is definitely current and could easily fit in with R&B radio play lists across the nation.

Leslie Hunt is a 25 year-old from Chicago, IL that was featured in an American Idol commercial before season six started. She is a self-described indie rocker and has a unique vocal style. Evidently she is also part of a band called Mark Twang which describes its music styling as “Blues/Latin Ethno-Folk Lovin’” – sample their music and Leslie’s voice on their MySpace music page.
