American Idol fans got a glimpse of Stephanie Edwards last night as she made her way to the Top 12 Females. Edwards, a 19 year-old from Savannah, GA, auditioned in Memphis and while we didn’t get to hear her sing Billie Holiday’s “God Bless the Child” they did show her emerging from the audition room with her golden ticket in hand. Edwards performs under the name Uniek and although she has a MySpace page it is pretty barren – check it out Stephanie Edwards’ MySpace Page.
The mysterious “Nicole” was outed as Nicole Tranquillo during last night’s episode – those that predicted the top 24 couldn’t get her last name so she remained a mystery until the airing. Evidently Tranquillo is/was a member of a Hip Hop/R&B banded located in Philadelphia, PA by the name of Soul School. They have a MySpace Page if you want to check it out.
