This doesn’t come as a surprise to me because I actually predicted it after watching the performances on Tuesday night. Rogers was one of many contestants that forgot his words. His vocals were OK but he has continually lacked the stage presence that is needed to do well in this competition. Another former backup singer, Melinda Doolittle, has taken over the stage and made it her own. Had Brandon Rogers been able to follow in Doolittle’s footsteps he may not have been voted off this past week.
