He was first asked about his performance last week and he said “sometimes the judges have their opinion….sometimes I wonder if they were listening to the same thing that I was listening to” then he went on to explain how several professional drummers called him and told him that he was completely on beat contrary to watch the judges, and everyone else in America, heard. I feel like he’s still trying to defend his getting voted off instead of accepting it and moving on. This year has been bland; after the auditions I thought for sure it would be an exciting year and I was oh so wrong. Unfortunately, I think you may be more than a little right about why he said what he said. This year's whole crop has sort of been a bland thing for me, and there hasn't been the spark like there was with Chris Daughtry et al. Shoot, I'd settle for even a Kellie Pickler at this point.
